The hull of Seabourn Pursuit arrives in Genoa for the final outfitting phase at Cantieri T. Mariotti

Built by T. Mariotti, the ship, sister ship of Seabourn Venture, is destined for Antarctic cruises

29 April 2022 - Seabourn Pursuit, the second ultra-luxury expedition ship signed by T. Mariotti, completes its transfer from Trieste to Genoa, where the final outfitting phase begins to enter service in 2023. The entry into the port of the Genoa is the end of a seven-day circumnavigation voyage of Italy: a route of about 1.200 nautical miles accompanied by the tugboat Sea Dream, which began on April 22, immediately after the flotation operations concluded in Trieste on April 15, where the hull, left the CIMAR construction site in San Giorgio di Nogaro had arrived on board a special barge.

Seabourn Pursuit, twin of Venture, arrives in Genoa already equipped with engines, generators and the main equipment of the engine rooms and is preparing to be refined in every single detail in anticipation of the inaugural cruise scheduled in 2023.

Like its twin, Pursuit has been designed and built for different environments according to PC6 Polar Class standards and will be equipped with a variety of modern hardware and technologies. On board will be offered the same luxury experience of a small ship with the addition of all the comforts and the widest range of activities and excursions led by a team of 26 experts including scientists, scholars and naturalists.
